Tourmalines come in virtually every color and have some of the most vivid and rich pinks, greens and blues of any gems out there. This gem has a really unique and eye-catching blue-green hue with a distinct silvery overtone. About 15 years ago, I remember seeing some Tourmalines like this from Brazil, and this one might be from the same discovery. Just lovely in person. The stone has a "Brilliant Cut Corner Rectangle" cut and is only nearly eye clean which is great for a facetted Tourmaline, as the majority of them show visible inclusions. A beautiful color gem from one of the premier Tourmaline producing countries in the world.
