Item Description
INTENSE color highlights this gleaming, miniature gem crystal of Tourmaline from the well-known Mawi pegmatite in Afghanistan. The termination and the striated prism faces have an excellent, glassy luster which serves to really highlight the divine, greenish-blue color of the gem-like interior. In fine condition, the crystal is contacted exactly where you would expect it to be: at the base where it was attached to the the pocket wall. A really nice little crystal of this classic material, this Elbaite is so good it could be mounted, as is, into a pendant. 9 grams. Valued $2000-3000 for color!
