Tourmaline gems are some of the most popular stones in the world. They have increased in value in recent years due to rising demands for good stones, particularly in the Eastern Asian markets. For a few decades, Nigeria has been a source of some excellent gem grade Tourmalines. This an attractive green stone with slight inclusions and a standard "Oval Brilliant" cut. Inclusions in Tourmaline aren't as significant as other stones because Tourmaline is classified as a type-3 gemstone, which means that inclusions in the stones are acceptable in the trade for collectors and dealers.
