Item Description
Torbernite and schorl are both RARE from this well-known Nevada locale. Iridescent lime-green torbernite plates to 4 mm are attractively scattered on two sides of the rhyolite matrix. Sections of schorl and quartz are noted in the rhyolite. A very colorful, RARE and excellent combination specimen. Comes with a label from respected Mineralogical Research Co. The piece displays well from either side.
