Partially iridescent, beautiful rich grass-green, torbernite plates to 4 mm are richly and attractively clustered on the sturdy gossan matrix on this very fine, old-time specimen from famous Wheal Basset. A SUPER and RARE bonus are the numerous hematite pseduos after Beta quartz crystals, to 1.6 cm, on the back! Ex Bob Trimingham Collection. According to Bob's label, this was formerly in the Kay Robertson Collection and collected before 1848! Classic, excellent and RARE combination material. Value???
