Item Description

These are some of the most beautiful crystallized specimens out there in my mind. Torbernite was named after the Swedish chemist, Tobern Bergmann who lived in the mid 1700's. This specimen is comprised of dozen of good, forest green color, flattened, thin, "books" and slightly diverging crystals of this beautiful Copper Uranium Phosphate. It is somewhat difficult to obtain specimens of this material these days, and specimens are becoming increasingly less common to find in today's market. A great classic specimen from this wonderful locality.
