Item Description
A classic, sharp, lustrous, GEMMY, sherry colored Topaz crystal measuring 2.9 cm, sits atop a matrix of cream-colored Feldspar, which plays host to a few doubly-terminated Quartz crystals from Dassu in the high mountains of Pakistan. I will say that I've seen doubly-terminated Topaz crystals from this locality, but this is honestly the first piece I've seen that features multiple doubly-terminated QUARTZ crystals. As a matter of fact, after taking a glance on mindat.org, it seems that doubly-terminated Quartz crystals are almost impossible to find with sherry colored Topaz from any locality in Pakistan. This specimen is highly aesthetic as you can see, and fine quality all around. A very showy display specimen of this wonderful and classic material. Valued at $2,500 retail.
