Item Description
Here we have a classic beautiful sherry colored Topaz crystal on white Albite (var: "Cleavelandite") from Pakistan. This area has long produced some of the finest Topaz specimens in recent memory from the standpoint of color, size, and gemminess. This crystal is very sharp and glassy with a wonderful sherry color, and a great termination. The crystal is virtually undamaged, and is aesthetically sitting on the lovely contrasting "flowers" of Cleavelandite. It displays well from a few angles also. You don't see nearly as many of these pieces from Pakistan on the market as compared to a few years ago. A worthwhile small gem crystal display specimen for any collector. Please note that these crystals can fade to colorless when exposed to sunlight, or possibly any light, so it should be kept out of the light if possible to help retain its color. A great matrix Topaz for any collector. Valued at $3500 high retail. A wonderful opportunity to obtain a very worthwhile and attractive specimen of this well known material. Good matrix Topaz specimens are few and far between from most worldwide localities.
