Item Description
A 2.0 cm, water-clear, colorless, topaz crystal with a complex termination is dramatically set next to a highly lustrous, striated, dark olive-green to black tourmaline crystal on this very aesthetic combination piece from Shengus and the Herb Obodda dealer stock. The tourmaline has a matte-finish pyramidal termination. It is complete all-around, nearly pristine, with only two small spots of edge wear. The matrix includes more topazes, quartz crystals and cleavelandite blades. Combination topaz specimens of this quality are RARE from the Shengus area. An outstanding and visual, 360-degree specimen. Valued by Herb at $1000, five or more years ago. It is certainly worth more today.
