Topaz, Tantalite-(Mn) & Albite ex Obodda

A sculptural and aesthetic combination plate from the Shigar Valley and the Herb Obodda dealer stock. A 1.4 cm, gem, water-clear, colorless topaz crystal is partially cloaked in sugary albite and is nicely set at the end of the plate. A splendent, sharply terminated, 5 mm, tantalite-(Mn) crystal is nestled among the nifty arborescent, shrub-like clusters of snow-white cleavelandite blades on the albite matrix plate. Topaz and tantalite combinations are quite rare from the Shigar Valley and this is a very fine example of an unusual combination of species.
