Topaz (RARE New Hampshire locality)

A superb quality specimen from the lesser-known Government pit locality near Albany, New Hampshire. I've only seen a select few of these pieces over the years, and all of them were loose single crystals, with no matrix. This piece has the rare distinction of not being just a loose single Topaz, as there is a bit of attached white bladed Albite (var: Cleavelandite). The Topaz itself is essentially WATER-CLEAR with excellent luster on the surface and very light sherry and blue hues internally. A stellar example from this rare locality that would make a superb addition to any thumbnail collection, a suite of gem/pegmatite minerals or just worldwide Topaz specimens.
