Item Description

Gem champagne-colored topaz crystals, water-clear quartz crystals and a striking book of pearlescent muscovite plates on a mounded matrix of pearlescent cleavelandite blades form a very cool and aesthetic 360-degree combination from the less well-known pegmatites at Yuno in the Shigar Valley. The striking, three beautifully intergrown topaz crystals, to 3.7 cm, have classic complex pinacoidal terminations, that dramatically accentuate the piece. Complete all-around and in great shape. A small bruise to a topaz crystal on the outside termination edge and the basal periphery wear are noted, but this remains a very fine and sculptural combination example of the species and locale from the Raul Orellana Collection. Fairly valued at $1500-1750.
