Item Description

Excellent Grosse Spitzkoppe topaz specimens are VERY RARE compared to those from nearby Klein Spitzkoppe. This very well composed small cabinet features an aesthetically placed, 3.4 cm, gem, "silver" topaz crystal on the side of a euhedral smoky quartz crystal. This cute topaz is pristine and is doubly terminated. Very fine old combination material from the Giancarlo Fioravanti Collection, who obtained this a trade with well-known Namibian dealer, Sid Pieters, in Windhoek in 1967.
