Topaz (natural unheated gem with Schorl inclusions)

Many of the blue Topaz gems you'll see on the market have been irradiated to create the blue color, but there are many worldwide localities where natural (untreated) blue Topaz is found. This stone is a natural gem with a light sky blue color and a "Round Brilliant" cut from Brazil. If you look closely, you can see some small thin prisms of jet black Schorl included inside the Topaz, creating an attractive "inclusion" stone. A cool gem for any fan of gems with mineral inclusions or a suite of worldwide Topaz stones.
