Topaz (natural blue color) (large stone)

It's important to start by saying that this stone is not a treated gemstone, and the color is 100% natural. A large number of the blue Topaz gems you'll find on the market have been treated/irradiated in order to create the blue color, but this one came from a broken natural blue colored crystal that was faceted a few years ago. The gem has a soft baby blue color and looks great with the standard "Emerald" cut. With all the treated Topaz on the market, it is very nice to see such a big stone with beautiful natural color. The stone is virtually eye-clean and would make a great gift for someone with a November birthday as Topaz is the birthstone for that month, or it would make for a great "rough and cut" match for a crystal from Brazil.
