Topaz (natural blue color) (cut by Brett Kosnar)

Let me start by saying that this stone is not a treated gemstone, and the color is 100 percent natural. The stone was cut by Brett Kosnar of Kosnar Gem Co., and he hand selected the rough from one of his good sources in Brazil. The gem has a soft baby blue color and looks dazzling with the custom "Modified Square Cushion" cut. With all the treated Topaz on the market, it is very nice to see such a large stone with the beautiful natural color. The stone is nearly eye clean, and for a natural blue Topaz, it's a fantastic stone for any collector. The $100 starting bid on this stone puts it at just under $9 per carat, which is a GREAT price for a gem of this size, quality and calibre.
