Blue topaz from the 1960s discovery at Xanda Mine is now hard to come by on the market, markedly obvious by the shape of the crystals as you see here, and the icy blue color. This natural blue topaz is 102 grams, and balanced and complete. It is quite gemmy, translucent to transparent throughout. It is MUCH better in person than any photo can convey, so please see the video. It is nearly perfect, with just a few tiny tiny dings and no major bruises as you so often see on these old crystals. This is a fine miniature of competitive quality, from the collection of Brian Kosnar (and previously from his father Richard's collection, per label), donated to support the Mineralogical Record.
