Item Description
A classic, GEM quality Topaz crystal on Smoky Quartz from this famous Namibian locale. Some of the most iconic Topaz crystals in the world come from this locality. The Topaz crystal on this specimen measures 1.8 cm and has incredibly well-formed, smooth, textbook faces with high luster. The Smoky Quartz is also well-formed, and rather gemmy, but you need to backlight it to see the internal clarity. There is a small ding on the tip of the Smoky Quartz, but the piece is mostly complete all around, with a bit of roughness around the base where it was removed from the pocket wall. Older material from the 1970s or 1980s finds. Priced at $1,450 in our inventory.
