Item Description
A fine thumbnail specimen of Topaz from the Jos Plateau in Nigeria. This crystal was mined in the 1990s and features sharp, well-formed, smooth lustrous faces on all sides with a rather gemmy colorless interior. No major damage I can find, save the bottom which is cleaved, like virtually all crystals from this area. Complete all around, and it would make a great addition to any thumbnail suite, a collection of gem crystals, or Nigerian minerals. Specimen weight is 13.97 grams.
