Item Description
An attractive Topaz crystal that came labeled as coming from simply Mexico, possibly from the Artroyos Mine. A 2.2 cm predominant, sharp, GEM quality, colorless and soft reddish-orange color crystal with well-formed faces and great luster is associated with smaller Topaz crystal on Rhyolite matrix. No damage. This specimen comes from the collection of Willard W. Wulff (1904-1998) of Colorado Springs, Colorado, a prominent figure and collector of Colorado minerals. Wulff was one of the founding members of the Colorado Springs Mineralogical Society in 1936.
