Item Description
Here we have a classic light sherry colored Topaz from Pakistan. This area has long produced some of the finest Topaz specimens in recent memory from the standpoint of color, size, and gemminess. This crystal is very sharp and glassy with a light sherry color, but the fact that it is nearly 100% GEM quality makes it so much more desirable. It sits wonderfully on bladed Albite (var: "Cleavelandite") matrix with minor Muscovite. You don't see nearly as many of these pieces from Pakistan on the market as compared to a few years ago. A worthwhile miniature gem crystal specimen for any collector. Please note that these crystals can fade to colorless when exposed to sunlight, or possibly any light, so it should be kept out of the light if possible to help retain its color. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock. Valued at $400.
