Item Description
A hard to find Topaz specimen from Russing Mountains Area near Swakopmund, Namibia. Many sharp, well-formed, lustrous, striated, gemmy white/colorless iron-stained crystals of Topaz measuring up to 7 mm are associated with Albite (var: Pericline), Quartz and Muscovite on matrix. Up close, I really can't see any damage, and if you collect Topaz or minerals of Namibia, don't miss out on this RARE and HARD TO FIND display specimen! Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#931). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).
