Item Description
A gorgeous, pastel blue etched Topaz crystal weighing in at 25.54 grams from the famous Teixerinha Mine in Brazil. There are deep cavernous areas and hollow spots on all sides of the specimen, giving it an almost other-worldly quality. Despite the etching, the Topaz crystals actually has a few very smooth, well-formed, crystal faces here and there. This striking and interesting piece is from the small find of 2004. With a bit of backlighting, you can see internally that the piece is VERY gemmy, and actually WATER CLEAR in areas. A really cool piece for any fan of gem crystals, Brazilian minerals or worldwide Topaz specimens. Valued at $500.
