Some of the most beautiful and iconic sherry colored Topaz crystals in the world come from Pakistan. This area has long produced some of the finest Topaz specimens in recent memory from the standpoint of color, size, and gemminess. This small cabinet sized specimen is a GEM QUALITY crystal with sharp gorgeous multi-crystallized etched "peaks" flaring out of the sides, but still retains its flat basal termination. The elegant and ethereal forms seen on all sides are incredibly enticing, and he fact that the crystal is nearly WATER CLEAR makes it even more desirable . It displays well from a few angles also. A small amount of Muscovite, Albite and Schorl can be seen on the reverse side. You don't see nearly as many of these pieces from Pakistan on the market as compared to a few years ago. Specimen weight is 195.20 grams. A very attractive and completely unique gem crystal specimen for any collector. I had this one on the shelf in Tucson at $4,000. Please note that these crystals can fade to colorless when exposed to sunlight, or possibly any light, so it should be kept out of the light if possible to help retain its color.
