Item Description
A RARE, striking and most unusual large combination specimen from the famous Xanda Mine, source of some of the world's finest topaz specimens. A dramatically etched, terminated, blocky microcline crystal is aesthetically accented with three very glassy and gemmy, complex light blue topaz crystals, four rare lustrous, tabular, jet-black columbite-tantalite crystals and numerous large and small muscovite crystals. The topaz crystals reach 1.8 cm, the large columbite-tantalite crystal 6 mm and the two large hexagonal, pearlescent, zoned muscovite books 1.3 cm. There is even white albite on the attachment on the back. The etching on the microcline, species combination and small crystal placement is remarkable on this RARE and artistic large combination from the famous 1960s to early 70s finds here. Value???
