Here we have a wonderful, one-of-a-kind, natural blue color (unheated / untreated) Topaz gem from Brazil. This stone was cut/carved by Brett Kosnar of Kosnar Gem Co., who is a 4-time AGTA Spectrum Award winning gem cutter. The stone has excellent cutting and carving patterns on all sides of the stone, particularly on the underside/pavilion/culet area of the gem has actually been carved to create the beautiful shapes you see when the stone is viewed through the table. This particular style of cutting is seldom seen in any colored stones on the market today. This is not just a gem, but it's a piece of gemstone art, so it could be the center stone in a pendant, or you could add it loose to your gemstone collection, or it literally could be displayed on its own as a carving.
