Item Description

At least nine, reddish, prismatic crystals of Topaz are clustered in a rhyolite vug lined with a fine-grained, charcoal gray manganese oxide from this classic Mexican locality. The group of sharp Topaz crystals exhibit a brick-red color from included Hematite (typical from this locality) with the largest measuring 1 cm in length. It's a very aesthetic group with at least seven component crystals. A beautiful thumbnail example from this locality.
