Glassy, pale green-blue, gem Topaz crystal with an etched termination from Brazil. The Brazilian pegmatites of Minas Gerais State have produced an abundance of gem crystals over the centuries. This Topaz crystal is completely gem with only one cloudy area on the back left side along one of the crystal faces and some minor internal crazing on the right side. This piece is highly lustrous, displaying well developed prism crystal faces and nicely terminated with a geometric pattern etched into the termination that scintillates. A little lumpy and rounded, but that is what makes it unsuual and interesting as well.
