This locality is documented for its blue Topaz crystals, but they are rarely seen on the market. This piece came to us directly from Frank and Wendy Melanson from Hawthorneden, who obtained the piece directly in Brazil. It is a mostly WATER CLEAR, pale NATURAL blue color orthorhombic crystal with a great termination and razor sharp faces. It's in excellent shape all around, save a separation mark on the back of the crystal where another crystal once grew, or perhaps where it was removed from the pocket wall. It has such smooth and well-formed faces, with virtually no etching that I can see. If you collect gem crystals, thumbnails or minerals of Brazil, don't miss out on this one.
