A crystal that resembles blue glass with its incrediblygemmy interior and lustrous, sharp faces. The piece has beautiful form and a rich color for the size. This is NATURAL blue Topaz, not treated to create the color. The display side of the piece is incredibly sharp and smooth, and despite a bit of roughness, is in good shape. No etching to be seen. The area around Virgem da Lapa is one of the most prolific localities for blue Topaz in the world, and has produced some of the most impressive and memorable specimens with larger sized crystals.
