This GEM quality, euhedral, colorless (slightly iron-included) sharp, well-formed orthorhombic is from Jefferson County, not the more likely Park or Teller County locality that one might expect from Colorado. The piece is a great thumbnail from the locality, and a very worthwhile pickup for a gem crystal collector, a thumbnail collector or somebody interested in Colorado minerals.
