Pretty cognac-colored, gemmy, lightly frosted topaz crystals to 2.3 cm form an aesthetic diverging spray on rhyolite matrix on this showy piece from a classic Mexican locale. Some embedded rhyolite is noted, but certainly nothing to excess. The second largest crystal does have a cleaved side, but is out-of-sight on the preferred display views. A nifty Mexican topaz.
