Here we have a classic GEM quality Topaz on matrix from Pakistan. This area has long produced some of the finest Topaz specimens in recent memory from the standpoint of color, size, and gemminess. The crystal on this specimen is very sharp and glassy with a VERY light sherry color, but the fact that it is nearly 100% GEM quality makes it so much more desirable. The crystal is associated with gemmy Quartz, minor green Fluorite on golden Muscovite and white Albite matrix. It displays well from a few angles. You don't see nearly as many of these pieces from Pakistan on the market as compared to a few years ago. A worthwhile gem crystal specimen for any collector. Please note that these crystals can fade to colorless when exposed to sunlight, or possibly any light, so it should be kept out of the light if possible to help retain its color.
