Item Description
A gorgeous, razor-sharp, GEM/gemmy, lustrous, prismatic colorless Topaz from an undisclosed locality the amazingly productive gem state of Minas Gerais, Brazil. The crystal is not only texbook in form, but the faces are so smooth and well-formed, that it honestly looks better than the vast majority of equallity sized Topaz crystals from any world locality in terms of crystallography. It's not 100% damage free, as the sides are contacted, with a few minor nicks here and there, but overall, you can't deny the superior quality. It has a very light golden hue in areas from included iron, but it's essentially colorless and truly WATER CLEAR in areas, especially near the termination. Valued at $2200. From the collection of Senator / Dr. Miguel Romero of Teuhuacan, Mexico (Collection #6421).
