Item Description

A fine, sharp, glassy, 70.48 gram Topaz crystal from the classic Virgem da Lapa district with textbook symmetry. It is water clear with good glassy luster and a charming pale yellow tint. The crystal has sharp faces and edges with a perfect pyramidal termination. The prism faces are slightly striated and the pyramid faces are flat and lustrous. It is just a beautiful miniature of a Topaz crystal that is essentially perfect all around with only contacting at the base where it was removed from the pegmatite pocket.
