Item Description

A gem, rich champagne-colored, stout, tabular, 2.0 x 1.7 x 1.1 cm topaz crystal is aesthetically set on the sculptural, mounded small cabinet rhyolite matrix. The textbook, hexagonal crystal has fine form, that is enhanced by the modified pinacoidal termination. The crystal has one clean repair near the base, the matrix has been stabilized around the crystal and the back has been sawed. The displays well without aid. Ex De Natura (Les Presmyk) dealer stock. A classic Utah topaz from the Thomas Range.
