Item Description
Tokyoite is an ultra rare barium, manganese, iron, vanadate known from only four localities worldwide, two in Japan and two in Italy. The red paper arrow on the manganite matrix points toward an area which contains a few, glassy, red, sub-millimeter crystals of this very rare species. Ex Renato Pagano Collection, co-author of the 2001 Mineralogical Record article on this famous locality.
