Item Description
The Titanites from Arondu are 'Alpine-type' crystals, and in many ways nearly identical to the classic examples from the Austrian Alps. This small cabinet specimen hosts several sharp, lustrous, attractive green colored narrow tabular blades of Titanite measuring up to 1.6 cm which are partially coated in areas by 'Chlorite' (Clinochlore) and sitting on white Albite matrix. There is some roughness, so the piece is not pristine, but if you have always wanted a nice reference piece of this now hard to find material from Pakistan, be sure to pick this one up.
