Item Description
The various gneiss quarries in the Beura area in Italy have produced some very attractive and well-known Alpine mineral species. This specimen hosts a few small (2 mm), light golden color, sharp, lustrous, bladed crystals of Titanite which are associated with pale peach-pink "rhombs" of Chabazite-Na. I have photographed the crystals under the microscope to better show their quality. From the famous Alpine collection of Richard A. Kosnar.
