Titanite with Albite and Calcite (ex James Zigras)

Item Description

Here we have a cool Titanite (Sphene) specimen from Achushnet. The piece resembles Austrian Alpine material in color, habit and associations. There several thin, bladed Titanite crystals which range in color from stark green to more of a golden hue which measure up to 1.3 cm and are associated with stark white porcelain-esque "Pericline" Albite crystals and minor Calcite. A good association reference piece with a collection label from James Zigras.
