Titanite with Albite

A nice jewel of a Titanite miniature showing a couple of good twinned crystals standing proudly on contrasting matrix with some accessory Albite from one of the most famous and prolific localities in the world, Capelinha in Minas Gerais State, Brazil. The largest crystal sits up nice and measures 2.7 cm in maximum dimension and the smaller adjacent crystal is 1.6 cm in size. Both wedge-shaped crystals are lustrous, transparent to translucent and display a vibrant almost lime-green color! The crystals are smartly perched on a large fragment of a Titanite crystal that has a sugary coating of fine Titanite crystals along with numerous, poorly formed, granular, glistening Titanite crystals. Several, subhedral, nearly snow-white crystals of Albite to 1.5 cm are in association in one area. A nicely composed Titanite miniature from here and excellent for the size on its own merit, plus you get the Lucio collection provenance.
