Titanite with Albite

Capelinha, Brazil has produced some truly fine quality and iconic Titanite crystals over the years. The excellent color and beautiful crystallization are certainly the pinnacle for any Brazilian locality, and possibly all of South American. This piece features a sharp, lustrous classic twinned Titanite crystal measuring 8 mm, associated with buff colored Albite on matrix. The best part of this specimen is that the Titanite is not coated with dark grey "Chlorite", which can often be the case from this locale. Very attractive to beautiful to view under magnification.
