Item Description
You might not see too many pieces from Arondu on the market these days, as it's one of the lesser known Titanite localities in Pakistan, but this area has produced some excellent crystals of the species, especially some superb twins. These pieces are what is called "Alpine-type", as they formed in remarkably similar environments to closely comparable classic specimens from the European Alps. These Titanite crystals are similar to those found in Austria, Italy or Switzerland. This specimen features a handful of sharp, lustrous, gemmy, rich green color crystals of Titanite - some of which are twinned - associated with dark semi-metallic Clinochlore and white Adularia on matrix. The Titanite crystals measure up to 1.0 cm. Very little damage.
