Item Description

Very sharp, textbook crystals of titanite (sphene) to 1 cm, are arranged in a tight cluster on this beautiful large miniature from a highly unusual locality for the species. The shape is nice, the color is fine, and they have a good luster...but are small crystals from other localities; and yet significant for Morocco. Dr. Pohl had a huge Moroccan suite and seems to have bought something from every discovery here!
