Titanite (twin)

A beautiful miniature sized display specimen of this contemporary classic "Alpine-type" material from the high mountains of Pakistan. These specimens are quite similar to their European counterparts, especially the famous crystals from Austria. This piece features a beautiful, sharp, well-formed, light yellow-green colored twinned crystal of Titanite measuring 4.3 cm sitting on a matrix composed of little Adularia crystals which are included with dark greenish-black "Chlorite". The main Titanite is doubly-terminated and in fine condition. A few smaller Titanites can be seen on the piece (which are also twinned) for a nice touch. Showy, fine quality and very desirable for any fan of minerals from cleft deposits.
