Item Description

Tormiq is one of the classic 'Alpine-type' Titanite localities in Pakistan, and this area has produced some superb crystals of the species, especially twins. This specimen features very pronounced, highly lustrous, green, twinned crystals of Titanite on euhedral Orthoclase. These are partially included with Chlorite near one of terminations, which adds to the piece both mineralogically and visually. Interestingly, there are two sets of twins, the largest being 4 cm long, and both sets have the crystals partially offset to each other. The effect is dramatic. This specimen is a very attractive miniature and these pieces are some of the most difficult to obtain from Pakistan.
