Aesthetically perched on contrasting feldspar matrix is a gemmy, uniquely bi-colored, green and golden-amber, titanite crystal. The color change is very sharp. This classic crystal is 2.2 cm long, doubly terminated and twinned. One tip of the titanite rests on a larger, sharp, albite crystal, adding even more pazzazz. This very fine specimen is from the Watzl Collection, of Austria. Superb crystallography and color, unusual isolation, and sharpness all make this a superb miiature for its kind.
