Item Description
Prismatic and bladed crystals of Titanite rise up dramatically from a matrix of green Epidote in this excellent miniature from a small find in the Anti-Atlas Mountains of Morocco. The extremely showy, root-beer colored Titanite crystals are gemmy and superbly lustrous. They range up to slightly over 1 cm in length, and save for one that has a very minor amount of wear, they look pristine. In form and color, the Epidotes contrast wonderfully with the radial sprays of Epidote. This aesthetic piece is highly representative for this discovery, and I find the gemmy brown color of the Titanites to be particularly attractive.
