Item Description
Here's a sharp, doubly terminated crystal of jet-black titanite from Canada! This wedge-shaped crystal has high luster and is a floater, with only a shallow contact in the back. With a strong light, the edges of the titanite are a translucent red-brown! This was originally in the Royal Ontaro Museum's collection until 2001 when it was traded out to Wendy and Frank Melanson, a Canadian couple who put together a world-class thumbnail collection with a strong emphasis on Canadian minerals.
