Titanite ex Dr Ed David collection

A sumptuous cluster of gemmy, lustrous, pistachio green Titanite crystals on a plate consisting of mostly fine-grained Titanite with tiny patches of black manganese oxides for contrast. Monoclinic, wedge-shaped crystals range in size from less than 1cm up to 3.2cm! All of the crystals on this piece are twinned and in excellent condition! A very attractive piece! Clusters like this from Pakistan are difficult to obtain these days. ex Ed David, with old label from his collection, and valued at $2000 at that time (early 2000's).
